Calls & call handling

Emergency calling

Can I call 111, 000, or 999 from Cradle?

Cradle does not provide emergency calling capability in any region. Cradle is not a replacement for emergency services.

If you need emergency services, call from a landline at your physical address or from your mobile phone.

New Zealand

The emergency number in New Zealand is 111. You can find non-emergency police numbers on the NZ Police website.

Australia

The emergency number in Australia is 000. For background on VoIP and emergency calling, the Communications Alliance has guidance on what to do when your phone service runs over the internet.

United Kingdom

The emergency number in the United Kingdom is 999. 112 also reaches emergency services across the EU and the UK. Both should be dialled from a landline or mobile, not from Cradle.

Wherever you are, make sure each member of your team knows how to reach local emergency services from a device that isn't Cradle.
