FAQs

Who can use BYOC?

Cradle allows some customers with custom phone numbers on third-party carriers, to integrate calls from those numbers into Cradle's system. If you can't get the numbers you need through Cradle, this option might work for you.

I can't port my numbers to Cradle. Can I use BYOC?
Porting is no longer a barrier; keep your existing carriers, numbers and regulatory compliance. Just get in touch with our team to get BYOC provisioned on your account.
What do all of these terms mean?

SIP means Sessions Initiation Protocol: it's what most VoIP uses to set up phone calls over the internet.

Termination: Generally something that 'Terminates" with you, so likely an inbound phone call.

Origination: A call that Originates with you, so an outbound call.

IP ACL: This is an access control list, which is a collection of IP addresses that we will allow to send calls to Cradle.

Can we make outbound calls using Cradle's BYOC service

This feature is currently in private beta. If you have specific carrier requirements that can only be met with your current provider, get in touch and we can discuss adding you to the private beta.
